📋 Description

• Act as the first point of contact for global customers on-site • Lead activities, people, and HSE compliance to a high standard • Safely install, maintain, and repair Aeroderivative Turbines • Perform borescope inspections, blade work, combustion/hot section replacements, engine swaps, and other maintenance tasks • Provide technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor • Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts • Use hand tools and small power tools for general maintenance of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines • Execute hands-on site duties, including subcontractor coordination and customer/internal communication • Troubleshoot complex mechanical and hydraulic problems on variable pitch/variable speed turbines • Oversee overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of Aeroderivative products at customer sites • Perform advanced site maintenance activities on AERO engines, including hot section replacement and top case work • Troubleshoot gas turbine packages, auxiliary systems, and balance of plant (BOP) • Lead customer and contractor meetings, share action plans, and advise on technical solutions • Ensure training, compliance, and quality documentation is updated and completed • Ensure field activities comply with company environmental health and safety guidelines and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of work as a mechanical technician on aircraft engines, aero-derivative engines or other types of turbine technology (preferred LM series with expertise on Level 2-4 Inspection) • Good mechanical/technical and oral communication skills • Good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment • Experience with bolting, hydraulic bolting, flange management, and small bore piping • Extensive experience with gas turbines maintenance activities • Experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar) • Experience leading customers through tough decisions • Ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding • Deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks • Motivated self-starter able to make key decisions and innovate solutions • Good English knowledge • Availability to travel globally 70% of the time • EU Passport or European Work permit
