📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day activity across Biffa's owned social media channels • Create, edit, adapt and schedule social content across priority platforms • Support integrated strategic communications and broader campaigns through social content creation and distribution • Repurpose content across social channels and formats to maximise reach, engagement and communications value • Maintain and manage the social content calendar • Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify content opportunities, gather information and create social assets • Support the creation and coordination of photography, video, graphics and multimedia using internal resources and external suppliers • Monitor channel performance, identify opportunities to improve content and engagement, support real-time communications and provide campaign insights • Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Communications, Strategic Communications Manager, Press & Media Officer, Community Executive, divisional marketing teams and external partners

🎯 Requirements

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media or a related discipline • Previously worked on social media channels for a corporate or agency in a B2B environment • Experience creating content across a range of social media platforms • Experience supporting integrated communications, marketing or content campaigns • Experience using social media scheduling, publishing and analytics platforms • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities • Strong digital and social media skills • Experience using Canva to create engaging visual content and social media assets • Experience using social media management and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms • Working pattern of 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with occasional flexibility required
