📋 Description

• Manage and supervise execution of projects or parts of projects according to contract • Occasionally stand in for the Works Manager during their absence • Implement safety, health and environment plans • Contribute to QA plans and risk assessments • Prepare and conduct Toolbox Talks and Job Hazard Analyses • Prepare quality checks • Carry out on-site project preparations • Prepare short-term mobilization, installation and demobilization planning • Prepare and review work methods and ensure approved methods are executed • Coordinate people, equipment and materials for project activities • Provide input for the execution plan • Prepare and follow detailed project planning • Monitor efficient and effective execution, including quality, cost and budget • Manage, instruct, adjust and motivate onshore and offshore teams, subcontractors, and vessel or machine operators • Update daily site reports covering work performed, dredged amounts and depth, materials, weather, personnel, equipment and subcontractors • Produce weekly and operational reports • Maintain client relationships and consult with client supervisors • Deputize for the Works Manager or Project Manager • Act as the key Boskalis representative on very small projects

🎯 Requirements

• At least a secondary vocational working level and intellectual ability • Knowledge of Office software • Knowledge of quality and safety systems • Basic knowledge of dimension technology • Practical experience with and insight into the operation of equipment and auxiliary equipment • Practical experience with projects relating to stone dumping, bank protection, bed protection, currents and tides, jetties and groynes, hopper work, cutter work, backhoes, clamshells, grabs, dumping, environmental dredging, small-scale dredging, pipes and ducts, landfalls and outfalls • Knowledge of tides, sea conditions and bathymetric survey information • Right to work in the UK • Full UK driving licence is essential • Willingness/ability to travel within the UK and Ireland and occasionally work away from home on project sites
