📋 Description

• Lead portfolio and programme management for the Professional Development team within Regulatory Services • Establish and operate governance, cadence and decision-making for prioritising PD initiatives and delivering measurable benefits aligned to RS strategy • Act as the Professional Development team’s primary interface to the RS Business Improvement function • Coach project leads to apply agreed project management standards • Directly manage selected high-priority initiatives end-to-end • Own and continuously improve the portfolio governance framework, including stage gates, change control, RAID, benefits tracking and decision logs • Maintain a transparent portfolio with scope baselines, priorities, dependencies and resource plans • Drive trade-off discussions and escalate blockers • Curate templates and guidance, and run peer reviews and health checks • Produce executive-ready portfolio reporting covering status, risks, mitigations, decisions and benefits realisation • Map and engage stakeholders across Regulatory Services and adjacent teams • Manage change impacts and communications for key portfolio milestones

🎯 Requirements

• Proven success leading programme and/or portfolio management in a complex, matrix environment • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, dependencies and trade-offs • Demonstrable experience establishing and operating governance rhythms, including stage gates, RAID and benefits tracking • Experience improving project management practice through coaching, standards and quality assurance • Formal project/programme management certification, such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or IPMA-D • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Ability to work in a home-based role with approximately 10% travel
