📋 Description

• Maintain, support and monitor the existing network infrastructure • Support site network connectivity, core network infrastructure, wireless infrastructure and associated projects • Support SASE infrastructure and help secure the network • Deliver SASE-based connectivity to 20+ offices, data centres and Azure in collaboration with the SASE partner • Support management and the wider team in improving and enhancing systems and processes • Provide subject-matter expertise and mentorship on best practices to the wider CIO function • Ensure data centre and office hubs remain performant and available across the country • Maintain the stability and performance of data centre and office satellite-site networks • Monitor, maintain and support network software for stability and compliance with technology standards • Manage corporate and guest Wi-Fi • Perform maintenance, patches and upgrades while supporting continuous availability • Maintain the SD-WAN solution and SASE modules, including firewall, web filter and CASB • Own allocated project actions, technical problems and incidents • Detect, resolve or escalate events; conduct root-cause analysis and remediation • Monitor availability, performance, capacity and trends against baseline metrics • Use monitoring and event tools to support stabilization and lifecycle management • Develop knowledge of supported systems and transfer knowledge to junior staff • Assess security status and apply vulnerability-mitigation solutions • Liaise with internal and external partners, user groups, IT consultants and project managers • Keep technical documents and policies accurate, current and compliant • Support architecture and project delivery teams on continuous-improvement initiatives • Participate in the firm’s security posture and ensure new implementations are secure • Resolve issues and incidents in line with ITIL best practices • Provide technical peer review of proposed infrastructure changes • Participate in Change Management Board meetings and manage infrastructure changes • Track service licences and assist with licence and certificate renewal costing • Review logs, monitoring solutions and alerts to maintain availability, performance and security

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working as part of a network delivery team • Experience in change management/scheduling • Understanding of infrastructure technology and protocols • Networking knowledge and qualifications • HPE ProCurve/Aruba/FlexFabric experience • FortiGate knowledge and experience, including SD-WAN • SASE experience with Cato Networks is desirable • Microsoft Azure Networking knowledge, including vNet, peering, S2S and P2S VPN, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewalls, network security, traffic routing and shaping • Knowledge and understanding of voice/video and QoS • Strong communication skills, including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Ability to quickly arbitrate, prioritise and filter change/deployment issues to identify solutions • Ability to undergo employment confirmation checks after accepting an offer
