📋 Description

• Translate data product vision and strategy into clear, actionable requirements • Work closely with Data Product Leads, Lead Engineers and the wider Scrum team • Capture and document business and data requirements • Map processes and workflows • Translate strategic priorities into user stories and well-defined backlog items • Act as the day-to-day link between Data Product Leads and the Scrum team • Facilitate collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders • Bring structure and clarity to complex requirements • Support initiatives from idea through delivery • Contribute to wider data product development activities • Support team priorities and continuously improve data product development and delivery across the University

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in a numerate, business or analytical discipline, such as Business, Data, Economics or Computer Science, or equivalent relevant professional experience • Proven experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst or similar requirements-focused role, ideally within a data or technical product environment • Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation • Process mapping and documentation skills using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io or Miro • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments • Backlog management, user story writing and defining acceptance criteria • Ability to translate ambiguous or complex business needs into structured requirements • Understanding of data concepts, including data models, data sources and data pipelines • Strong stakeholder communication skills with business and technical audiences • Higher Education experience desirable • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI or similar desirable • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps or other backlog management tooling desirable • Experience supporting multiple product workstreams concurrently desirable • Must have the right to work in the UK; Arden cannot sponsor a Skilled Worker visa for this role
