📋 Description

• Commissioning and optimising Building Management Systems (BMS) across a variety of customer sites • Programming and modifying BMS software, control strategies and graphical user interfaces • Diagnosing and resolving complex BMS software, hardware and communication issues • Supporting functional testing, system validation and commissioning activities • Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle • Supporting less experienced engineers by sharing technical knowledge and best practice • Working closely with Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Service Engineers and customers to ensure successful project delivery • Producing and maintaining technical documentation where required • Identifying technical risks and recommending effective solutions • Ensuring all work is completed in line with project requirements, company standards and customer expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation or HVAC Controls • Strong experience commissioning, troubleshooting and supporting BMS installations • Experience programming BMS control strategies and graphical user interfaces • Experience with Automated Logic (ALC) is preferred; however, experience with other BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell or Johnson Controls will also be considered • Strong understanding of BMS hardware, controllers and field devices • Good knowledge of communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON and N2 • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, control schematics and technical documentation • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously • Full UK driving licence • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and internationally, primarily within Europe, as business needs require.
