📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day operations of a designated shift within the Configuration department • Organise and lead daily shift operations to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets safely • Set daily direction and priorities for the team • Maintain internal and external service levels • Collaborate with supervisors and departments to resolve issues and improve workflows • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports through feedback, mentoring, and performance management • Build bench strength through succession planning and talent development • Conduct appraisals, return-to-work meetings, and payroll-related activities • Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members • Manage conduct, capability, and absence investigations and disciplinary processes, excluding dismissal • Collect, analyse, and report operational data and KPIs • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities • Champion continuous improvement and process review using root cause analysis • Drive accuracy, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements • Champion safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety standards • Promote professional behaviours and company values • Create and sustain a positive culture focused on teamwork, quality, productivity, and accountability • Champion CDW’s vision of becoming an AI-fluent organization

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years’ leadership or management experience within supply chain, warehouse, or operational environments • Strong people management and leadership skills • Proven ability to organise, prioritise, and manage time effectively • Confident self-starter with a collaborative, team-focused mindset • Proficient in Microsoft O365 • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) • Technical or configuration background (desirable) • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (desirable) • University degree or A-Level / GCSE (or equivalent) • ITIL V4 (desirable) • Lean Six Sigma (desirable) • IOSH (desirable) • 5S Working Practices (desirable) • Comfortable exploring how AI can enhance strategy, decision-making, and team performance • Ability to guide others in building confidence and capability with AI tools and practices
