• The role is responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of customer accounts held by the Account Director. • Handling customer engagements as defined by the Account Director in order to maximise sales capacity and customer satisfaction. • Liaise with various stakeholders, including internal CDW departments, vendors & suppliers, as well as directly with customers. • Quotations on both standard and non-standard products. • Placing orders via our sales tools. • Managing Outlook mailboxes, both co-worker and customer specific. • Dealing with initial customer queries or issues. • Product returns. • Product information, including manufacturer data sheets and specification checking. • Reporting, including Back Order and ad-hoc customer requirements. • Changes to products and prices within ServiceTrack catalogues. • Work with key vendors and partners as required to develop opportunities and relationships in existing clients. • Liaise with internal departments, including Customer Services, Credit and Purchasing. • Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge as defined by the Account Director. • Understand vendor promotions and special bid processes. • Understand deal registration process. • Assist with holiday cover and training of co-workers.
• PC literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Web Browser) with fast & accurate keyboard skills, able to create and apply formulas • Understanding the importance of accurate reporting • Understanding of the IT industry sales channel • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills • Use of internal tools for account management and order processing (Microsoft Navision, CRM) • Experience working in a commercial environment preferred • Previous administration experience in a similar role preferred • Industry product and service knowledge preferred
