📋 Description

• Extend Circle's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support tokenization • Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve and modify existing systems • Build and own scalable microservices for reliable, secure APIs transferring value and assets across blockchain and traditional banking protocols • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and shape Circle features • Develop and document system design procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards • Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions and restore normal functioning • Build publicly accessible APIs simplifying developer integration with complex payment systems • Integrate Platform Services with leading banks and financial technologies • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles • Write infrastructure supporting payment experiences, including SQL or NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 6 years minimum professional software development experience • Experience in object-oriented languages such as Java and Go • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent • Led teams of 2–4 technically on architecture and system design • Experience with payment systems such as credit cards and bank transfers • Broad understanding of RESTful API design and development principles • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure • Experience with SQL databases and schema design • Proven experience designing and deploying production-quality, scalable software • Focus on coding standards, code quality, and test coverage for continuous delivery • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams • Self-starter able to work at a fast pace, ship software improving user experience, and work with little supervision
