• Plan and implement new target market initiatives. • Identify and attract prospective national and strategic customers. • Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth. • Prospect new national & strategic accounts and further develop existing customer base. • Research prospective accounts in target markets, pursue leads, and move them through the sales cycle. • Maintaining up to date industry knowledge on products and solutions. • Collaborate with customer design and sales teams to consult on products and ensure end customer design requirements are met. • Develop, present, and negotiate quotes and proposals for prospective clients. • Attend industry conferences, conduct sales meetings, and conduct training for internal and external stakeholders. • Provide product and educational demonstrations to customers, engineers, and CES branches. • Provide marketing materials on company products and services to qualified prospects. • Work with the management and marketing teams to assist in the follow-up activities related to specific marketing campaigns and webinars.
• Previous electrical distribution sales experience preferred, ideally selling to national accounts and strategic multi-location customers. • 5+ years of sales experience – Electrical Industry experience is highly preferred. • Proactive self-starter with the ability to succeed with minimal guidance. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external clients. • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on prioritization and goal setting. • Strong presentation skills, including comfort speaking at customer meetings, events, and conferences. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver on commitments. • Passion for contributing to the growth of an innovative new division within CES.
