📋 Description

• Build and enhance test automation frameworks • Develop automated test cases • Try out new features and ensure they land smoothly in production • Test cross-functional implementations across internal ClickHouse teams • Implement testing strategies and automation for large and complex distributed systems • Evaluate new ClickHouse functionality for each release • Identify opportunities for improvement in the existing codebase • Engineer and improve existing testing infrastructure • Improve the efficiency and quality of ClickHouse open-source and cloud offerings • Build automation for critical operational functions that ensure ClickHouse Cloud operates smoothly worldwide and at massive scale

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of SQL • Previous experience in a similar SDET, Release Engineering, or QA role related to a classical database or distributed system • At least 3 years of professional experience debugging SQL databases • Hands-on experience with a programming language such as Python, Go, or C++ • Ability to read C++ code for validation • Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting • Experience with both manual testing and automation testing • Solid production debugging skills • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams • Ability to learn complex technology quickly in a fast-paced, team-driven environment • Excellent communication skills • Current location and right-to-work sponsorship information required during application
