📋 Description

• Provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for an assigned portfolio of approximately 3–4 legal entities within an international group of 10–12 entities • Act as the primary point of contact for external bookkeepers, accounting firms, auditors, banks, corporate service providers, and other relevant parties • Ensure timely exchange of accounting data, bank statements, invoices, agreements, corporate documents, and supporting information • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing and ensure complete and accurate reports from external accounting providers • Review trial balances, Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, general ledgers, and supporting schedules • Analyze journal-entry data using approved AI tools to identify unusual transactions and inconsistencies • Perform and review bank, crypto, HLB, intercompany, AP, AR, and other balance-sheet reconciliations • Maintain consistency between internal accounting records and external providers’ books • Establish or restore accounting frameworks for entities with incomplete or unreliable records • Ensure records are complete, accurate, documented, and audit-ready • Coordinate and support statutory and group audits • Communicate with bookkeepers and auditors, challenge incorrect information, and resolve outstanding matters • Design, develop, test, and document AI-assisted accounting and crypto-accounting processes • Develop scripts, accounting rules, data-processing logic, and automated reconciliation and control tools • Support automation of data imports, transaction classification, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls • Document and implement solutions across the Group’s crypto entities • Maintain accounting documentation and audit trails • Act as backup for the manager when required • Perform other accounting and finance tasks assigned by the manager or department

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant education in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field • Strong hands-on financial accounting experience • Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end closing • Ability to review the trial balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, general ledger, and journal entries • Strong experience with bank, balance-sheet, AP, AR, and intercompany reconciliations • Ability to establish accounting processes from the ground up and restore incomplete accounting records • Experience coordinating outsourced accounting providers and external auditors • Good understanding of accounting documentation, internal controls, and audit requirements • Strong Excel skills and practical experience with accounting systems • Ability to work independently, manage several legal entities, prioritise tasks, and meet reporting deadlines • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, ownership, and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate professionally with international accounting providers, auditors, and internal stakeholders • English sufficient for daily professional communication and review of accounting documentation • Willingness to learn crypto accounting and use AI-assisted accounting and automation tools • Previous experience in crypto, fintech, digital assets, payments, or blockchain-related companies • Experience reconciling crypto wallets, exchanges, payment providers, and accounting ledgers • Experience with QuickBooks, 1C or similar accounting systems • Experience using AI tools for accounting analysis, transaction classification, reconciliations, or financial reporting • Experience working with multiple legal entities and jurisdictions • Experience with statutory or group audits • Experience with intercompany loans, interest calculations and foreign-currency accounting
