📋 Description

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and in-person equipment demonstrations to customers • Discuss equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers • Collaborate with sales personnel to understand customer requirements and provide sales support • Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, complete sales, and arrange deliveries • Evaluate, problem-solve, and define products to meet customers’ technical requirements • Help customers with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded materials and machinery • Solicit and log client feedback and evaluate data to create new sales and marketing strategies in Salesforce CRM • Achieve sales goals and company-set quotas • Train other sales team members on technical aspects of products and services • Memorize technical product specifications and stay updated with industry trends • Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to improve skills • Write reports and liaise with product management regarding issues and solutions • Maintain professional relationships with existing clients and expand sales territories • Travel up to 85% to provide demonstrations, training and support to end users, distributors and manufacturer representatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or similar preferred • Experience in sales and the technology/utility field preferred • Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational, research and multitasking abilities • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills • Able to understand and speak English fluently (required) • Able to understand and speak Spanish fluently (desirable) • A valid driver’s license • Able to be approved to secure DOT approval to drive company vehicles • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times • Travel: Up to 85% (must be able to travel extensively)
