📋 Description

• Act as a clinical strategist for the Advanced Wound Care Medical and Clinical Affairs team, focusing on emerging technologies • Lead clinical study design, including regulatory approvals, statistical analysis plans, and budgets • Collaborate with Medical Education, Key Opinion Leader Management, Business Development, Marketing, and regulatory teams • Interact with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies to identify unmet needs • Translate business strategies into actionable clinical study protocols and retrospective data generation plans • Analyze clinical study and evidence-generation data and distill findings into cohesive narratives • Develop publications and evidence communications with the medical writing team • Educate and serve as a role model for colleagues outside Medical Affairs • Support new product development, evidence generation and review, risk management, and other medical affairs activities • Act as a subject matter expert for the product line • Travel up to 20% overnight, including some international travel

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge in life sciences, medicine, or nursing • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Allied Health, Pharmacy, or Nursing • Clinical background (MD, RN, DPM, DNP, or similar) required • At least 3 years’ experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry in positions of increasing responsibility • Strong understanding of clinical research, including literature reviews, protocol development, general study execution, and statistical analysis • Experience in clinical study design in an industry or academic setting • Understanding of the medical device industry, including product development, pre-clinical, clinical, quality, marketing, and regulatory components • Experience with regulatory requirements for clinical studies in the US and EU highly desirable • Strong computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Good documentation practices • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to communicate fluently in English • Ability to work independently and as a team member • Ability to make decisions and accept accountability • Willingness to embrace change and adapt to new circumstances • Ability to deliver results according to timelines in a dynamic environment
