📋 Description

• Identify improvements to technology, organizations, processes, and tools used to develop software products and services • Help private equity companies and investment firms assess technology strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities for potential investments through technical due diligence • Design and implement solutions from scratch, including Agile methodology transformations • Guide and mentor junior software developers and engineers • Collaborate with internal and client technical leads and team members • Apprentice as a consultant on the first two projects, then independently drive projects to successful completion • Participate in and lead AI assessment efforts for investment companies • Create investor reports outlining technical investment risks • Participate in hands-on implementation projects and deliver strong customer outcomes • Identify improvements to existing AI technology, organizations, processes, and tools

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, ML, or analytical AI • Current knowledge of Generative AI • Lead/Senior Scientist or Lead Analytics/ML/AI experience at technology companies or consulting firms • In-depth expert-level Data Science experience, including data mining, statistics, and machine learning • Analytical and generative AI expertise • Evaluation and profiling of available data assets • Current knowledge of the LLM landscape, including commercial and open-source models • Model selection, training, and fine-tuning • Model efficacy metrics and bias management • IP considerations • ML Ops and related tooling • Cloud hosting and self-hosting options, including related economics • Multi-modal AI across text, NLP/voice, images, and video • AI-enabled software engineering • Willingness to learn new areas outside the initial comfort zone • Ability to work self-directed from home or an office while collaborating remotely and in person • Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, or AI
