📋 Description

• Maintain and improve a domain specific language compiler codebase and feature set, written primarily in Python • Design and implement new language and compiler features • Solicit and integrate feedback about design proposals and user needs • Debug cross-platform and integration issues, working closely with other teams to ensure safety and reliability • Design and write integration and end-to-end tests • Balance operating independently with regular user interviews and intra-team coordination • Shape the direction and roadmap of the tools and architecture • Collaborate with developers across the US, Europe, and Australia • Grow into consulting on system design decisions and coordinating with other teams across the company

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of shipping quality software • Ability to dive into a complicated code base where changes require careful attention and puzzle solving • Architectural and design experience building software across many system layers • Strong technical communication skills, including presenting, software architecture documentation and user feedback solicitation • Interest in compilers and how they work • Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team • Significant experience in analysis and implementation of data structures, algorithms, and software design • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes • Strong Python coding skills • Experience designing and developing compilers and programming languages • Understanding of software optimization and performance improvements • Experience working with programming language tools or broadly distributed systems • Knowledge or familiarity with systems languages such as Rust or C/C++ • Experience with or interest in formal modeling tools such as Agda and TLA+ • Coding and debugging skills in C, C++ and Swift • Experience with event processing systems or message passing languages
