📋 Description

• Join Cintra's Development Team as a Software Developer • Work alongside experienced engineers and Technical Leads • Use modern AI models and development tools to understand existing systems, design solutions, generate and test code, investigate problems and accelerate delivery • Develop capability to own an important area of Cintra's payroll software platform • Understand a significant product/domain deeply • Make good technical decisions • Solve ambiguous problems without requiring detailed instructions • Take end-to-end responsibility • Progress toward Senior Engineer, Principal-level specialist or Technical Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Strong degree, ideally first-class or strong 2:1, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a similarly analytical discipline • Up to 2 years' commercial software engineering experience • Evidence of exceptional problem-solving and learning ability • Has built and shipped real production software • Understanding of APIs and distributed web applications • Understanding of relational data and SQL • Understanding of software design • Understanding of testing • Understanding of security • Understanding of debugging and production systems • Comfortable using AI models and coding agents extensively as part of software development • Able to understand and challenge AI-generated solutions rather than blindly accepting them • Interest in understanding the business and product domain • Takes responsibility and naturally moves towards ownership • Clear communication with technical and non-technical people • Experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, Blazor, Angular, TypeScript and cloud platforms is useful but not required
