📋 Description

• Support data conversions and technical activities for Hawthorn River loan origination software implementations • Review source data from core banking systems, loan origination platforms, and third-party vendors • Map source data fields to Hawthorn River’s standardized conversion specifications • Use SQL to review, reconcile, validate, and transform loan data • Analyze CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON, and other structured data files • Validate source fields against target-system requirements before loading data • Investigate rejected, missing, or improperly translated data and document causes and resolutions • Review system and integration logs to identify configuration, connectivity, and data-flow issues • Troubleshoot file-based and API-driven integrations with implementation, product, support, and engineering teams • Assist with data transformations, supplemental file processing, and loan account number changes • Use SQL, Python, or other scripting tools to improve conversion efficiency and accuracy • Support testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, go-live activities, and post-conversion issue resolution • Maintain documentation of data mappings, conversion decisions, validation results, issues, and resolutions • Communicate technical findings to customers and internal stakeholders • Develop understanding of the Hawthorn River platform, data requirements, integration capabilities, and loan origination workflows • Collaborate with implementation, product, support, and technical teams on customer conversions • Manage assigned conversion tasks and priorities across multiple implementations

🎯 Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in data conversion, technical implementation, systems integration, banking operations, fintech, or a related field • Working knowledge of loan origination processes, including application, evaluation, approval, documentation, closing, and funding • Hands-on SQL experience involving data review, validation, reconciliation, or transformation • Experience working with structured data files, such as CSV, fixed-width, XML, or JSON • Understanding of data conversion activities, including source-to-target mapping, field-level transformation, validation, and exception handling • Ability to read system or integration logs and use the information to troubleshoot technical issues • Experience reviewing configurations and identifying dataflow, formatting, or connectivity problems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to data accuracy • Excellent documentation, organization, and follow-through • Ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and customer-facing teams • Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities in a remote environment • Experience supporting a loan origination system or other lending technology (preferred) • Experience with core banking system conversions or integrations (preferred) • Practical knowledge of banking or lending operations (preferred) • Experience working with loan data from a financial institution, core provider, or third-party vendor (preferred) • Familiarity with file-based and API-driven integration methods (preferred) • Experience using Python or another scripting language to automate data review or transformation activities (preferred) • Exposure to data migration, data quality, or conversion reconciliation processes (preferred) • Educational background in computer science, information systems, data analytics, finance, banking, or a related discipline (preferred) • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
