📋 Description

• Negotiate competitive contracts with behavioral healthcare providers in alignment with internal guidelines and financial standards • Draft and review contract language, collaborating with cross-functional teams on non-standard terms • Conduct financial and competitive analyses to achieve best-in-market discounts and meet financial targets • Manage contract performance and coordinate with internal departments to resolve contract execution, loading, and maintenance issues • Support implementation of value-based contracts aligned with business strategies • Build and maintain relationships with key providers and resolve escalated claims, contract interpretation, and provider data accuracy issues • Negotiate settlements and recruit providers as needed to ensure network adequacy and support expansion goals • Maintain accountability for specific medical cost initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of provider contracting and relationship experience, including contract language, rate proposals, and financial analysis • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Demonstrated ability to use competitive and financial data to negotiate favorable contracts • Experience in Behavioral Health Contracting, Provider Network Management, or Behavioral Health Operations • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple negotiations and tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain strong external and internal relationships • Strong preference for candidates residing in the Central Region states, including Illinois, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
