📋 Description

• Design, develop and maintain software applications, services and integrations across the customer engagement ecosystem • Build and enhance personalised customer experiences and profiling capabilities • Develop and support backend systems managing customer data flows between platforms and services • Work with Iterable to deliver scalable email and customer communication solutions • Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software and system issues • Contribute to engineering best practices, automation, code quality and continuous improvement • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities • Explore AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve engineering effectiveness and customer outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Commercial experience developing software within modern engineering environments • Strong JavaScript development skills and experience building full stack applications • Experience developing, integrating and maintaining APIs, services and backend systems • Knowledge of software design principles and engineering best practices • Experience working with source control, automated testing and CI/CD approaches • Understanding of secure coding, software quality and operational reliability • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within complex systems • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams • Experience contributing to code reviews, shared codebases and engineering standards • Passion for continuous learning and developing technical expertise • Experience with Python • Experience working with customer engagement, marketing automation or personalisation platforms • Knowledge of Iterable or similar customer communication platforms • Exposure to cloud-based services and modern engineering tooling • Experience exploring or implementing AI-powered tools within software development workflows • Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject is welcomed, but alternative routes with relevant project work, technical capability and hands-on engineering experience are also accepted
