• Lead strategic projects from inception through delivery • Ensure project objectives, timescales, budgets and quality standards are achieved • Develop and maintain project plans, registers and documentation • Allocate and manage project resources effectively • Provide regular updates and progress reports to project sponsors and programme boards • Act as the central point of contact for project governance, planning and delivery • Engage and coordinate stakeholders, subject matter experts and end users throughout project lifecycles • Ensure stakeholder alignment and adoption • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, dependencies and scope changes • Support development of business cases for project approval and funding • Champion project management best practice • Coach colleagues across the charity • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management frameworks, templates and documentation
• Significant experience successfully delivering projects from initiation through completion within agreed timescales and budgets • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Strong planning, monitoring and reporting skills • Ability to communicate progress against milestones and outcomes • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail • Outstanding stakeholder management skills • Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Diplomatic and collaborative approach to cross-functional working • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software • Recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, is essential • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check required • References covering any gaps in employment or education required • Eligibility to work in the UK required • Health check required
