📋 Description

• Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs, including authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error handling, and schema drift • Invest in DoiT's Integrations Framework, testing harnesses, and scaffolding • Use AI daily to explore codebases and APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and produce documentation • Build customer interfaces for connecting, configuring, and monitoring integrations • Implement health and status visibility, actionable errors, credential and key rotation, and operational feedback • Design self-service backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics • Build capabilities fully through APIs for human and agent use • Own features end-to-end from proposal through specification, implementation, and maintenance • Propose valuable product additions independently

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping and owning features in production • Strong TypeScript, including modern frontend work - React preferred • Hands-on experience with Go, or strong backend experience in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with genuine enthusiasm for ramping up in Go quickly • Real experience designing and consuming REST APIs, and integrating third-party APIs with auth flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, and breaking changes • Comfortable across the stack; able to own a feature from the database through to the interface • Working proficiency in SQL • Experience developing solutions in the cloud and/or using cloud services (GCP, AWS or Azure) • User-facing instinct for operational tooling and actionable error messages • AI-augmented working style; already use AI tools across the engineering workflow • Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns and architectural principles • Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS apps • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal • Self-organized, goal-oriented and self-motivated; confident, thorough and tenacious
