📋 Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Data strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives • Hire, manage and mentor managers, assigning responsibilities, evaluating performance, ensuring accountability and fostering collaboration • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Data infrastructure including data warehouse platform(s), data lake(s), transactional databases, pipelines, ETL, API, insights, ML and AI implementations • Lead the execution of Data projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior management proactively • Analyze Data operations to identify areas for improvement, track key performance indicators (KPIs) • Build and maintain relationships with leaders across the organization to facilitate the highest level of performance and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in engineering with a minimum of 6 years in a role with direct reports • Experience creating and managing budgets of ~$5M • Exceptional technical knowledge in Engineering and Architecture • Demonstrable experience in development for cloud (AWS experience preferred) • Strong hands-on experience with software engineering for SaaS products in the cloud • Proficiency in modeling team structure and processes for projects and go-forward planning • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Data Engineering or Computer Science • Proven leadership and team management abilities • Strategic thinking and ability to align Data with business goals • Project management skills • Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
