• Manage and oversee construction activities for new data center builds, owning program scope, timeline, and budget • Drive cost reductions and schedule improvements while maintaining quality • Review constructability of electrical, mechanical, and building designs for new and existing data centers • Create program scopes and equipment requirements; assist with RFPs, General Contractor awards, and capital requests • Oversee total program quality, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and program execution • Manage Requests for Information and coordinate construction administration with engineers • Record and report key metrics to team members and management • Concurrently manage multiple programs, including new data center construction and capital improvements • Provide leadership across internal and external teams supporting the data center • Travel to data center sites for constructability reviews, startup testing, and commissioning • Lead continuous improvement of schedule, cost, risk, and change management functions • Coordinate program cash flow with the Regional Senior Program Manager • Coordinate owner changes and analyze their impact on the base program • Coordinate monthly billing processes • Develop, manage, and analyze complex cost- and resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6, including schedule risk, time impact, critical path, and resource-leveling analyses • Maintain Autodesk data and produce periodic management reports to track budget performance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field • Minimum of seven (7)+ years of related experience on complex projects exceeding $250 million • Five (5)+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, utilities, preconstruction, execution, and project closeout • Demonstrated responsibility for successful cost and schedule management on major projects • Experience with the design or construction of large colocation or client-owned/operated data center facilities • Vendor and contractor/subcontractor negotiation and management experience related to construction and program execution • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with fast-track design/build projects and/or multiple significant upgrade projects • Ability to coordinate within multidisciplinary internal teams • Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6, including schedule risk analysis such as Monte Carlo, time impact analysis, critical path analysis, resource leveling, and qualitative and quantitative schedule evaluations • Experience with Autodesk data and reporting • Ability to travel to data center sites as required
