âą Develop, manage, and close a pipeline of enterprise opportunities with the largest Fire/EMS agencies in the United States âą Own all aspects of the enterprise sales cycle: discovery, demonstrations, solution design, proposals, negotiations, and contract execution. âą Build relationships with Chiefs, Deputy Chiefs, IT leaders, procurement teams, and key decision-makers. âą Lead RFP/RFQ responses and coordinate cross-functional resources (sales engineering, product, account management, legal). âą Create and execute account plans to identify opportunities for new business, expansions, and multi-year partnerships. âą Deliver clear understanding of agency needs, workflows, processes, and compliance requirements. âą Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level customer conversations throughout the buyer journey. âą Partner with Sales Engineering to craft tailored demonstrations that highlight operational and compliance value. âą Work closely with Marketing to support enterprise campaigns, industry events, and targeted outreach. âą Coordinate with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs and a positive customer experience. âą Maintain expert-level understanding of the Fire/EMS landscape and emerging trends in public safety. âą Track competitive players and articulate clear differentiation of our SaaS solutions. âą Represent First Due at industry conferences, trade shows, and regional association events.
âą 7+ years of sales experience, selling to either Fortune 1,000 companies and or the top 250 populated cities/counties in the public sector with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding quota. âą Experience selling into government, large public sector agencies, or organizations with long, complex procurement cycles. âą Strong consultative selling skills with ability to lead high-stakes, multi-stakeholder deals. âą Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. âą Experience managing RFP/RFQ processes and navigating public procurement. âą Ability to travel regularly for onsite visits, demos, and industry events. âą Familiarity with municipal budgeting cycles and grant-funded purchasing.
