• Support the day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and policy updates to ensure a seamless employee experience. • Maintain HRIS data accuracy, produce people analytics reports, and surface insights to guide better decision-making. • Ensure compliance with employment/contractor laws and internal policies across Canada, US and other countries. • Identify opportunities to modernize workflows through AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and overall employee experience. • Facilitate seamless execution of the departments initiatives through process optimization and information management. • Act as a trusted partner for employees and managers, handling inquiries, performance discussions, and workplace matters. • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment logistics, conduct some P&C interviews, provide recommendations, prepare offers, and manage new hire documentation. • Contribute to culture and engagement initiatives that strengthen collaboration, a sense of belonging, and connection across teams in a fully remote environment.
• 2–6 years of HR experience, ideally in a scaling tech or remote-first company. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and bring structure to evolving environments. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — approachable, diplomatic, and pragmatic. • Strong appetence toward using AI powered tools and automation. • Experience in a fast growing remote first technology company. • Proficiency in HRIS and collaboration tools (e.g., BambooHR, Confluence, Slack, Airtable, other HRxAI-tools). • A proactive problem solver who enjoys making things work a bit better every day.
