• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of all X-ray systems across the Midlands, with flexibility to support wider UK requirements • Diagnose and resolve complex system-level faults across multi-technology platforms • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment uptime and customer satisfaction • Provide remote diagnostics and support from a home office, dialling into systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues where possible • Collaborate with engineering teams, service centres, and commercial functions to deliver exceptional service • Manage tools, spare parts, and travel logistics efficiently • Complete all required documentation accurately and within deadlines • Travel approximately 35–40% of the time, with occasional overnight stays • Attend international training courses as required • Support overtime, short-notice callouts, and compulsory weekend shifts (1 in every 4 weekends)
• HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical discipline • Field service experience; medical imaging experience advantageous but not essential • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently • Experience with remote connectivity tools and diagnostics • Good IT skills, including familiarity with software installation, virtual machines, and troubleshooting • Full UK driving licence • Fluent in English • Experience with additional medical imaging modalities desirable • Knowledge of DICOM and IT/network troubleshooting desirable • Familiarity with CRM systems desirable • Project management experience desirable
