📋 Description

• Provide overall finance leadership for building and operating a Project Accounting organization for the Hydro Business • Help design a future Project Accounting organization and assess options for the Hydro business line • Define roles, responsibilities, and operating mechanisms across Region Operations, BU Finance, and FP&A teams • Lead and develop a Controllership and accounting team • Simplify and standardize processes and policies in line with the Power Operations Finance model • Translate concepts, develop strategy, implement change, create programs, and participate in cross-functional business and cultural development • Oversee project accounting, including project setup, actuals booking, revenue recognition, manual journal entries, and reconciliations • Streamline connectivity between pacing, GAAP, and statutory and tax financials • Establish legal entity financial quality processes and act as a point of contact for audit inquiries • Ensure project financials comply with GAAP, statutory regulations, and global accounting policies • Communicate balance sheet position to senior management quarterly • Partner with Risk Finance, Functions, Cost teams, project managers, and cross-functional leaders on margin reviews and contract performance • Partner with Pole, BU Finance, and fulfillment leaders in the pacing process to deliver baseline financial cases • Provide internal and external audit support for project accounting, balance sheet, and P&L • Drive excellence in Controllership, including GE policy adherence, best-practice transfer, and internal controls • Champion LEAN culture, lead transformation, guide continuous process improvement, and prioritize automation opportunities • Identify, recruit, grow, and retain talent • Maintain accountability for execution by third-party vendors supporting Services Operations Finance

🎯 Requirements

• Projects accounting work experience either as a Controller, Risk Finance Leader or OTR Finance Manager • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance or operations function in progressively larger positions of responsibility • Minimum 3 years of finance leadership experience • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant preferred • Direct or indirect leadership of global teams • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure • Strategic thinking and ability to create and execute concrete action plans • Adaptability and flexibility in ambiguous or changing situations • Ability to partner with Pole/ITR Finances, Fulfillment, and Operations • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
