📋 Description

• Design experiences for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph, including the entity graph, entity catalog, and RCA workbench • Enable customers to understand and explore how their systems connect • Present complex, constantly changing information clearly without overwhelming users • Translate research and data into digestible experiences • Tailor experiences to multiple target audiences and user perspectives • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, technical writing, GTM, and Product Design teams • Prioritize impact while balancing business priorities, customer needs, and technical considerations • Document user needs, pain points, design directions, UX trade-offs, and detailed feature designs • Execute and contribute to quantitative and qualitative research initiatives • Develop product-area expertise and understand customer personas, use cases, and workflows • Coach and mentor other designers and contribute to Product Design team initiatives and ways of working

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant design experience working on B2B/enterprise software products, ideally designing tools and services for developers or other highly technical users • Portfolio of effective designs for complex products delivered in a fast-paced environment • Experience running qualitative research in complex fields • Ability to balance business goals, product priorities, customer feedback, research insights, and technical considerations • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones • Attention to detail and willingness to learn a complex, technical product space • Experience working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment • Experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces with a focus on clarity is a bonus • Domain knowledge or experience related to observability, cloud infrastructure, and/or database monitoring is a bonus • Experience helping design teams level up their practice and impact is a bonus • When applying, provide an example of an experience where decision-making in a complex area was made easy through a well-curated UI
