📋 Description

• Set the design direction and quality bar across the app, from new features to health insights and early vision work • Define success measures and own business results • Own the design system, including consistency through tokens and clear decisions • Build high-fidelity prototypes and motion using AI tools and the design system • Support, coach, and unblock other designers • Give clear feedback and raise the team's quality bar • Challenge product and engineering with evidence • Persuade stakeholders and make clear, documented decisions • Work daily with product managers and design engineers • Report directly to the Head of Design • Drive major product bets from first idea through shipped result

🎯 Requirements

• Proven design leadership with a track record of consistently delivering strong business outcomes • 2 to 3 shipped case studies demonstrating high impact, including the problem, hypothesis, decisions, and measured result • Outstanding visual design craft, including hierarchy, typography, motion, and attention to detail • High-fidelity prototypes and videos of work, ideally built with AI tools such as Claude or Lovable • Daily, practical use of AI tools and experience with AI-ready design systems • Fluent Figma, including components, variables, and tokens • Strong product thinking using data, hypotheses, and measurements • A public portfolio website, required with the application • Health, consumer, behavior change, or regulated product experience ideally • Mobile apps, connected devices, and simple prototypes in code are nice to have • Applicants must already hold a valid visa or work permit for their country of residence • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, act with urgency, document decisions, and explain design decisions • Ability to work with medical regulation and different market rules as design problems
