📋 Description

• Create unique, defensible and highly consumable business and technology insights addressing finance leaders’ AI priorities • Serve as a leading authority on finance AI topics, including AI impact, pilots, governance, vendors, use cases, and finance transformation • Stay abreast of external artificial intelligence trends relevant to finance audiences • Develop thought leadership and compelling, actionable approaches to client needs • Analyze clients’ challenges, identify root causes, and reframe thinking to drive strategy • Establish insights positions across a team of analysts • Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders and evolve research agendas • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts • Provide actionable advice to clients and prospects through virtual or face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Provide sales support and help Insights teams engage clients around critical priorities • Conduct timely, high-quality peer review of content • Represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaboration with peers • Improve research processes and develop new processes for service delivery • Mentor and coach junior team members • Encourage regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 10–12+ years of relevant field or industry experience in finance function and technology topics • 2+ years of experience with AI for finance • Increasing scope and responsibility in relevant work • Exposure to major finance processes, workflows, data sources, and technologies • Experience deploying AI functionality in embedded tools • Experience developing homegrown or company-specific AI solutions • Exposure to data science, quantitative analytics, statistics, probabilistic decision-making, and coding languages, preferably Python • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines • Excellent research and writing ability • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, and presentation skills • Ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions • Proficiency analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks, and defending conclusions • Ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large- and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape in the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner’s research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% where applicable
