📋 Description

• Create unique, defensible, and highly consumable business and technology insights addressing finance leaders’ AI priorities • Serve as a leading authority on finance AI topics, including AI’s impact on finance, pilots and scaling, governance, vendor landscapes, use cases, AI-agent portfolios, and agent design • Stay abreast of external artificial intelligence trends relevant to finance audiences • Establish insights positions across a team of analysts • Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders and influence research agendas • Research, analyze, and predict market trends and shifts • Provide actionable advice to clients and prospects through virtual and face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Support BTI and Sales with market perspective, content creation, and client engagement • Provide timely, high-quality content peer review • Build credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy • Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions • Identify research process improvements and develop new service-delivery processes • Mentor and coach junior team members • Encourage regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • 10–12+ years of relevant experience working on finance function and technology topics • 2+ years of AI for finance experience • Experience with major finance processes and workflows, data sources, and technologies • Experience with machine learning, AI agents, predictive modelling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) • Experience with data science, quantitative analytics, statistics, probabilistic decision-making, and coding languages, preferably Python • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, and presentation skills • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data and applying patterns and frameworks • Ability to explain complex concepts concisely and simply • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
