📋 Description

• Manage regional financial strategy team leads, including expectations, timelines, progress updates, and performance evaluations • Coordinate workload, projects, and staffing plans for assigned analysts and clients • Provide feedback and support professional development of service team members • Participate in hiring direct reports and department employees • Lead national financial strategy servicing meetings and plan training curricula • Identify and implement quality standards, best practices, peer review standards, and service improvements • Mentor financial strategists and support associate growth and local expertise development • Collaborate with market leaders and national leadership to ensure work quality • Implement innovative products and services alongside existing financial strategy processes • Peer review and mentor work for complex self-funded, level-funded, and fully insured clients • Develop and deliver standards for benchmarking, financial analysis, underwriting projections, contribution analysis, self-funded decision support, and IBNR • Analyze book-of-business trends and prospect/client needs, communicating findings to leadership and strategic partners • Support marketing template updates, RFP submissions, data management, and complex marketing reviews • Execute financial analysis for fully insured, TPA, stop loss, and PBM offerings • Negotiate with national carrier partners and build carrier/vendor relationships • Determine communication strategies for presenting financial strategy to clients • Champion new initiatives and growth opportunities to national and market leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of similar or related experience • College graduate, 4-year degree, or equivalent experience preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, including in-depth Microsoft Excel knowledge • Managerial or leadership experience • Must attain and maintain a Life and Health license through continuing education requirements • Some travel required, once monthly • Responsibility for executing the benefit division’s strategic direction for analytic solutions and tools • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities • Ability to modify existing methodologies and implement new initiatives • Ability to manage and mentor experienced professionals • Responsibility for analysis accuracy and peer review best practices • Ability to perform under pressure, across multiple work streams, and with tight deadlines • Advanced communication and presentation skills • Management/Leadership competency • Financial Acumen • Self-Direction • Professionalism • Agility/Flexibility • Problem Solving
