• Oversee and coordinate daily activities of concrete crew in coordination with onsite Superintendent. • Review site logistics and planning with Superintendent. • Coordinate manpower requests with onsite Superintendent. • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine work requirements. • Set forms, place reinforcing steel, pour, level, and finish concrete. • Inspect work areas and ensure all tasks meet quality standards and deadlines. • Prepare for and monitor material usage and coordinate with suppliers and project managers. • Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards. • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. • Conduct pre-pour checklist and post-pour inspection. • Train and mentor team members to improve performance and skill sets. • Communicate effectively with onsite Superintendent, subcontractors, and other trades.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade school certification a plus. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of concrete techniques, tools, and materials. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions. • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
