• Own and manage the team backlog, aligning it with product priorities and outcomes • Translate features into user stories with acceptance criteria, dependencies, risks, and success measures • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and Agile ceremonies • Manage in-sprint scope decisions, tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and constraints • Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across sprints and releases • Partner with Product Managers on roadmap execution and business case development • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX, Platform, Solution Leads, and business stakeholders • Coordinate dependencies and alignment across teams and serve as an escalation point for delivery teams • Incorporate customer input through UX, research, and usability studies • Validate measurable feature value and support value tracking • Provide input on solution design, technical tradeoffs, timelines, and alternate paths • Support validation, governance, release readiness, and configuration consistency • Participate in PI planning and scaled Agile activities • Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior Product Owners as needed • Obtain high-level work estimates for Phase A and Phase B • Prioritize the ART Backlog and define Program Increment objectives • Support customer journey, process flow, epic, feature, and work-estimation definition for Phase B approval • Facilitate software selection to deliver the product requirements • Serve as first escalation point for Delivery Product Owners in the ART
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience • 5+ years of experience using Agile methodologies related to a Product Owner role • 5+ years in Product Owner or Agile delivery roles • Experience with cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum or SAFe • Experience managing complex products or dependencies • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools • Knowledge of IT systems development strongly preferred • Familiarity with software development technologies • Experience in medical device development and/or other highly regulated products • Experience with regulated environments and/or digital/CRM platforms preferred • Strong communication skills with audiences of varying technical backgrounds • Ability to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams • Ability to influence without authority • Strong problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Proactive stakeholder communication • Detail orientation and ability to judge multiple priorities • Flexibility to function in a fast-paced, growth-industry environment • US travel as needed, at least once per quarter • Experience with insulin pump development is a plus
