📋 Description

• Review, negotiate, and execute level-one legal work, including business associate agreements (BAAs), NDAs, vendor contracts, and other standard commercial instruments. • Own and administer the legal operations ecosystem, including intake tooling (Ironclad, Fresh service or equivalents), workflow automation, and document management. • Design and maintain a KPI and SLA dashboard that gives the General Counsel real-time visibility into legal team throughput, cycle times, and open matters. • Build and optimize the legal request intake process, ensuring clear routing, prioritization, and SLA accountability across the organization. • Serve as the primary liaison for conflict checks and matter management with outside counsel, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders. • Responsibility for transitioning disparate information sources into selected records management systems to ensure that documents are organized, version-controlled, and audit-ready. • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales (GTM), and the Salesforce admin to support contracting workflows and commercial deal cycles. • Serve as an internal champion for AI adoption within the Legal function — identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools for contract review, research, drafting, and operations, and supporting implementation in partnership with the broader Interra AI initiative. • Support the General Counsel on ad hoc legal matters, research, and projects as the team and company scale.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership required. • 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in healthcare, health tech, or another highly regulated industry. • Exemplary attention to detail with strong project development and management skills with an eye to efficiency. • Demonstrated experience working with GTM teams preferred. • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, BAAs, and data use / data privacy requirements. • Experience with or strong appetite for legal operations tooling — intake systems, matter management, workflow automation, and reporting. • Proven ability to own work end-to-end: you take something from intake to closed without needing to be chased. • Strong written and verbal communicator who can translate legal complexity for non-legal stakeholders clearly and concisely. • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where the playbook is still being written. • Applicants with a servant leader mentality; problem-solving and collaborative approach are essential. • Comfortable with brisk organizational pace and high volume business
