📋 Description

• Own how InvoiceCloud wins the utilities market. • Share accountability with the sales leader for the market’s revenue growth, bookings, and retention without carrying quota. • Own the market’s module attach rate and win rate against named competitors. • Build hands-on prototypes and turn market insights into complete module concepts. • Set the utilities vertical strategy and decide which opportunities to pursue. • Build investment cases covering sizing, assumptions, cross-functional requirements, and tradeoffs. • Own expansion of the serviceable market and align roadmap allocation with revenue contribution. • Use AI tools for market research, scenario modeling, and investment-case preparation while validating outputs. • Lead the market council across sales, customer success, product marketing, product, and engineering. • Set priorities for assigned engineering teams through influence and defend shared platform work across markets. • Hire, manage, and develop product managers. • Build relationships with customers, prospects, and sales leadership, spending close to half of the time externally. • Present investment recommendations to the investment review committee. • Deliver the monthly market review to the executive team.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in product, including time leading a product area or a small team, with results you can point to. • Commercial instinct: comfortable with revenue, pipeline, and win rates, and credible in front of sales leadership and customers. • Hands-on builder: shipped prototypes recently using AI tooling and can turn a market insight into a complete concept at the scale of a whole module. • A point of view on how artificial intelligence changes the industry and judgment to distinguish durable shifts from passing ones. • Willingness to make choices, including deciding what not to pursue and defending that decision. • Comfort working through influence and directing work done by people who do not report to you. • Experience in utilities, local government, tax, or software serving them is a plus. • Founder experience or having run something end to end is a plus. • Experience taking a new product or module to market, including pricing and packaging, is a plus.
