📋 Description

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and operational health of corporate/internal applications including CRM, ERP, billing, finance, and business-critical SaaS platforms • Lead consolidation and transformation of corporate applications, reducing redundancy and simplifying business operations • Partner with Finance, Billing, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and other stakeholders to translate needs into prioritized system and process changes • Lead application and platform integration, consolidation, and divestment work for acquired and divested businesses • Build trusted stakeholder relationships and drive business process transformation and adoption of standardized processes • Balance competing priorities and make trade-off decisions on scope, sequencing, and resourcing • Lead technical and functional application consolidation following mergers, acquisitions, and divestments • Own due diligence input and post-close integration planning for CRM, ERP, billing, and finance systems • Own billing and revenue systems strategy, scalable invoicing and collections, and quote-to-cash improvements • Ensure clean integration among billing, CRM, and ERP platforms • Use Datadog or equivalent monitoring to detect issues proactively and reduce incidents • Own application performance tuning, capacity planning, incident management, escalation, and post-incident reviews • Report platform performance and reliability metrics to business and technology leadership • Serve as final escalation point for complex application issues • Own architecture standards, governance, data flows, and documentation across corporate applications • Analyze business and platform data to inform prioritization and investment decisions • Champion configuration-first governance on hosted SaaS platforms • Lead, mentor, and grow business systems analysts, application administrators, and corporate systems engineers • Manage SaaS vendors, implementation partners, licensing, contracts, and renewals • Manage timelines, priorities, and resource allocation across transformation projects • Establish secure processes, access controls, GDPR compliance, risk assessments, and protection of sensitive financial, billing, and customer data

🎯 Requirements

• Previous Director or Senior Director level leadership of a corporate applications, business systems, or internal IT function at a similarly sized (or larger) organization • Proven experience (15+ years) in corporate/business applications, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred; platform certifications a plus • Demonstrated success leading business system transformation and platform consolidation initiatives, ideally including post-acquisition or divestment integration • Direct experience supporting M&A activity, including due diligence, platform consolidation, data migration, and system integration/divestment following acquisitions • Strong track record of stakeholder management across multiple business functions, including prioritization of competing demands • Track record of leveraging enterprise monitoring/APM tooling such as Datadog at scale, with measurable reductions in incident volume or mean time to resolution • Deep understanding of configuration versus customization on hosted SaaS platforms and a track record of configuration-first outcomes • Experience evaluating technology landscapes and developing modernization, consolidation, and convergence plans • Commercially astute, with ability to demonstrate investment or strategy value using commercial and business-outcome KPIs • Proven track record delivering complex system and process transformation programs at scale, on budget and on time • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills • Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies • Familiarity with security best practices for financial, billing, and customer data • Broad working knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Working understanding of secure software development lifecycle principles applied to hosted SaaS configuration, customization, and integration • Experience integrating corporate applications via APIs and middleware/iPaaS tools • Experience scaling corporate systems for a growing, multi-entity, or international organization • Experience in a private-equity-backed or highly acquisitive organization • Ability to work in the country where the role is based; the application asks candidates to provide their UK work authorization status
