📋 Description

• Lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and supplier management across indirect spend categories • Support Professional Services, Consulting, Contingent Workforce/Temporary Labor, HR Services, and Corporate Functions categories • Execute established category sourcing plans • Identify, plan, and execute contract renewals, options, and Statement of Work amendments • Lead competitive sourcing initiatives, including RFx execution, bid evaluation, commercial analysis, contract negotiation, and award execution • Structure and negotiate complex fee arrangements and master rate-card frameworks • Benchmark vendor rate structures, labor rates, and commercial models • Identify cost optimization, value creation, risk mitigation, and process improvement opportunities • Ensure sourcing activities align with procurement governance, business requirements, and enterprise objectives • Partner with functional leaders across Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and Digital/IT • Advise on sourcing strategy, supplier engagement, commercial negotiations, and investment decisions • Provide market intelligence, supplier insights, financial analysis, and procurement expertise • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Security, Privacy, and Technology teams on contractual protections and risk management • Develop strategic supplier relationships and drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement • Lead contract negotiations and monitor supplier performance • Resolve supplier disputes and performance issues • Collaborate with Finance on project financial information, proposals, make-versus-buy processes, and strategic scenarios • Track and report savings from Procurement engagement • Report to the Director responsible for Indirect Procurement • Travel to Jazz US and global offices, supplier sites, and other meeting locations as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field • Minimum 7 years Procurement experience with progressive responsibility • At least 5 years in indirect category management • Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry preferred • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication to varying organizational levels • Strong planning and analytical skills • Financial modelling, Excel, and excellent PowerPoint skills • Excellent critical thinking skills • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines • Ability to influence without direct authority • Proven track record of significant cost reduction • Experience with Coupa’s Business Spend Management Platform, all Source to Pay modules, a plus
