• Responsible for managing a multi-faceted business development process to generate acquisition opportunities for Vesta Software Group Europe. • Reporting directly to the M&A Business Development Manager - Europe. • Engage with target business owners, shareholders, and senior executives regarding potential acquisition of their business. • Develop and grow a deal pipeline through outbound sales efforts, and attendance at trade shows. • Maintain the group’s deal funnel and prospect information in our proprietary Salesforce database. • Recommendations to the senior leadership team of Vesta for potential strategies to identify new prospects.
• 2+ years of Sales or Business development experience • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Demonstrated success in cold calling, prospecting, and sales processes • Self-motivated, organised, and able to plan own work schedule, to set and monitor personal performance goals • Degree in business administration, business or a related area of study or equivalent is an asset • Prior software experience in a business to business environment is an asset.
