📋 Description

• Lead teams and develop high-quality solutions that create customer and user impact • Make sound, reasoned decisions in a fast-paced environment • Learn and apply new technologies and approaches with talented colleagues • Manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, focusing on performance and career development • Provide direction and leadership while solving challenging problems • Act as technical leader for the team • Interact with customers, share knowledge and mentor colleagues • Own product/software project architecture, estimation, product planning and user story/requirement creation • Design, build, test and maintain modern software applications • Lead teams building and testing scalable, secure and performant applications • Debug and troubleshoot live applications where required • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities within the team, wider capability and externally where appropriate

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with AWS, Node or JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript, Terraform and AWS CDK • Expertise designing, building, testing and maintaining modern software applications • Technical leadership of teams building and testing modern, scalable, secure and performant applications • Knowledge of software development principles, practices and patterns such as XP and TDD • Technical ownership of a product/software project, including architecture, estimation, product planning and user story/requirement creation • Expertise in software design and development across all application layers • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and develop junior team members and the wider community • Experience with current Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques • Good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences • Active participation in knowledge-sharing activities • Experience debugging and troubleshooting live applications • Experience with multiple programming languages and data storage technologies • Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings
