📋 Description

• Deliver contemporary data and AI solutions successfully across multiple customers • Provide thought leadership within the data and AI community • Work with senior stakeholders to agree principles, strategic direction, and functional and non-functional designs • Manage architects and engineers and support their career development • Assure and support multi-skilled agile teams • Assess solution outcomes, technical implications, and design complexity • Help teams make effective technical decisions • Lead development of policies and standards • Develop customer relationships and account strategies • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues • Advise on new technologies and approaches

🎯 Requirements

• Broad knowledge of current and emerging data and AI technologies, including IoT, edge processing, event-driven data architectures, serverless processing, file systems, object, document, key-value, search, RDBMS, graph, cognitive services, and machine learning • Clear communication and ability to influence C-level stakeholders • Proven experience designing, building, and productionising modern data or AI-intensive applications • Experience with distributed and scalable systems • Experience with public cloud data platforms, including at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience using IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS offerings • Familiarity with data integration techniques such as messaging, queuing, change data capture, or data virtualisation • Ability to prioritise customer concerns and incorporate non-functional concerns into application design • Ability to prioritise time across multiple major projects and work to deadlines • Experience proactively developing business and understanding commercial implications of decisions • Ability to motivate and empower teams and support an inclusive, creative, and wellbeing-focused culture • Desirable: experience managing others, setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews • Desirable: active participation in technology communities and sharing views on technology
