📋 Description

• Lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions • Work with customer architects to agree functional and non-functional designs • Advise customers and managers on estimated effort, technical implications, and design complexity • Manage, coach, and develop a small number of staff • Manage employee performance and support career development • Provide direction and leadership while solving challenging problems • Develop policies and standards with technical peers • Share knowledge and mentor colleagues • Advise on new technologies and approaches

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience working in the Defence Sector • Active Security or DV Clearance • Experience delivering software designs for multi-tiered modern software applications • Understanding of whole solution architecture concepts • Ability to communicate and negotiate solution architecture with customer architects • Experience incorporating non-functional concerns into application design • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings • Ability to communicate technical designs clearly in conversation, documentation, and presentations • Ability to make effective decisions in fast-moving delivery environments • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members • Desirable: Experience accountable for technology delivery challenges across projects or multi-team programmes • Desirable: Experience proactively developing business across an account with sales and account managers • Desirable: Experience managing others, setting objectives, giving feedback, and leading performance reviews • Desirable: Ability to prioritise time across multiple major projects • Desirable: Active participation in technology communities
