📋 Description

• Protect company and customer data by monitoring for threats and implementing security measures • Investigate and address security incidents • Conduct security reviews • Ensure the privacy, integrity, and availability of information systems, services, and networks • Respond to security alerts across information security alerting systems • Escalate security alerts requiring further investigation • Create new security alerts and dashboards as needed • Perform threat hunting across information security log feeds • Create information security policies, procedures, and playbooks • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents • Perform root cause analysis on identified vulnerabilities and incidents • Conduct security reviews and penetration testing across company products and services • Conduct vulnerability scanning and triage vulnerabilities across company products • Monitor network changes and network activity for threats

🎯 Requirements

• UK SC Clearance is required to support certain platforms • Security certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco Cyber Ops are desirable • Demonstrated knowledge of information security concepts and best practices • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing • Experience with SIEM tools, log observability, Azure or AWS, and other infosec-related applications and tools preferred • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred • Experience with infosec testing tools and scripts • Experience with AI tools such as Claude Code for data analysis and application development • Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel and/or Elasticsearch • Familiarity with SaaS application concepts, including secure configuration, APIs, logging, access control, permissions, and troubleshooting • Familiarity with Docker and containerization is desirable • Familiarity with implementing secure IT SaaS applications • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK Framework • Knowledge of ChromeOS, Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems • Ability to navigate the Linux command line • Strong verbal and written communication • Excellent time management, organization, and analytical skills • Applicant assessment and background check may be part of the hiring procedure
