📋 Description

• Protect company and customer data by monitoring for threats and implementing security measures • Provide senior-level responses to security alerts across information security alerting systems • Own security escalations and support junior SOC members • Create security alerts and dashboards • Build security response mechanisms, including automated triage and validation of security controls • Perform threat hunting across information security log feeds • Create information security policies, procedures, and playbooks • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents • Perform root cause analysis on vulnerabilities and incidents • Conduct security reviews and penetration testing across company products and services • Conduct vulnerability scanning and triage vulnerabilities across company products • Monitor network changes and network activity for threats • Diagnose, document, and mitigate risk • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff

🎯 Requirements

• UK SC Clearance is required to support certain platforms • Security certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco Cyber Ops are desirable • Demonstrated knowledge of information security concepts and best practices • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing • Experience with SIEM tools, log observability, Azure or AWS, and other information security applications and tools preferred • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field preferred • Experience building information security tools and scripts • Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code for data analysis and application development • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and/or Elasticsearch • Experience diagnosing, documenting, and mitigating risk • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff • Familiarity with SaaS application concepts including secure configuration, APIs, logging, access control, permissions, and troubleshooting • Familiarity with Docker and containerization is desirable • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK Framework • Knowledge of ChromeOS, Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems • Ability to navigate the Linux command line • Strong verbal and written communication • Excellent time management, organization, and analytical skills • Applicant assessment and background check may be part of the hiring procedure
