📋 Description

• Carry out installations and verify the functionality of new Kornit systems • Unpack, configure, and position system components according to factory standards and guidance documentation • Deliver training to print operators and maintenance staff • Perform general maintenance, configuration, and adjustment according to maintenance manuals • Carry out scheduled maintenance and replace, clean, or repair worn and defective parts • Perform fault-finding analysis, diagnosis, and repairs on-site or remotely where appropriate • Return defective, used, and/or unused parts according to Kornit policies • Apply upgrades and product modifications implemented by the product line • Provide first-level customer support for Kornit systems and application software by phone and remote tools • Participate in support hotline coverage during extended service hours according to a defined schedule • Document activities using approved systems and tools, currently Salesforce service modules • Liaise with the Service Coordinator and Hotline Support Engineer regarding ongoing service cases • Escalate cases to the Technical Manager or Service Manager where required • Provide installation reports, completion-of-installation sheets, images, and videos for service cases • Promote Kornit service offerings, including service contracts and maintenance programs • Perform other related duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technology • Minimum of 5 years experience in field engineering positions, servicing complex electro-mechanical devices • Willingness and flexibility to travel, at times overseas, up to 70% of the time • Knowledge of the digital printing industry, such as industrial inkjet technology, RIP/colour management, materials/ink/chemicals • Experience in textile printing would be an advantage • Excellent solution-finding skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system • Self-motivated personality and can-do attitude • Effective communication skills and customer management skills • Fluent English in writing and speaking • Current UK driving licence • Must be based in the UK; relocation/visas are not supported • Preferably based in Birmingham
