📋 Description

• Review and disposition surveillance alerts across regulated markets and clearly record decision reasoning • Conduct analytical reviews using trade and order data • Investigate escalated behaviour end to end, including data gathering, event reconstruction and written case reports • Assess internal and external referrals and advance warranted matters • Draft suspicious transaction and order reports and suspicious activity reports • Produce management information and regulatory reporting • Contribute to surveillance platform and tooling work, including adding products and data sources and testing detection behavior • Use AI and automation tools to accelerate evidence gathering and case reconstruction while applying human judgment • Conduct market surveillance across spot crypto markets, crypto futures, tokenised equities, OTC markets and consumer trading

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in trade surveillance, market abuse investigation or trading conduct inside a regulated firm, such as an exchange, broker-dealer, trading venue, bank or comparable regulated trading business • Working knowledge of core market abuse typologies, including spoofing, layering, wash trading, insider dealing, front running and ramping • Experience reviewing and dispositioning surveillance alerts and writing findings to a reliable standard • Clear, evidence-first written communication • Comfort using generative AI and other automation tools for investigative work while maintaining required oversight • Based in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Romania or Canada • Fluency in English
