📋 Description

• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional partners to architect and advance our observability products • Drive comprehensive end-to-end feature development • Proactively identify opportunities for product and user experience improvements • Provide expert mentorship and support to teammates • Actively lead and contribute to code reviews, spec reviews, and architecture design • Play a key role in advancing engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the technology organization

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software development • Demonstrated experience working on scalable and reliable distributed systems • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Java, Rust, C++) • Experience partnering with data scientists and familiarity building data products (experimentation, analytics, big data visualizations) • Experience building and consuming APIs, particularly in contexts that support system integration or workflow automation • Good understanding of system design and domain modeling • Familiarity with observability concepts such as metrics, tracing, structured logging, and debugging in distributed systems • A collaborative engineer who takes ownership of their work • Experience working directly with customers • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering impactful solutions • Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills • A proactive and self-directed approach to work • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Experience working with distributed teams.
