📋 Description

• Define and evolve a pragmatic test pyramid for React Native • Make coverage, reliability, and speed trade-offs across the mobile app • Set and enforce mobile release-quality standards • Create and maintain mobile E2E suites in Maestro, including test data, device configuration, helpers, and reporting • Integrate test suites into GitHub Actions CI for fast, trustworthy PR and release feedback • Reduce test flakiness and time to diagnosis through root-cause analysis • Use AI tools to accelerate test authoring, cluster failures, identify coverage gaps, and propose fixes • Shape AI-assisted mobile testing workflows, including prompts, guardrails, and review patterns • Partner with product and engineering on shift-left quality and clarify acceptance criteria • Use Datadog, Sentry, and Grafana to connect test coverage with production issues and customer impact • Perform targeted exploratory testing for high-risk releases • Work alongside software engineers, product, and design to set quality direction

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox • 6+ years in quality engineering or test automation • Experience introducing AI-assisted testing practices, including test generation, failure clustering, and coverage analytics, with sensible controls around review and trust • Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills • Experience shaping CI/CD pipelines for test reliability, including flakiness reduction, parallelisation, artefact management, and runtime control • Comfortable with mobile E2E automation, or strong E2E experience on another platform plus a credible plan for getting productive on mobile quickly • Able to operate independently and drive improvements end-to-end across frameworks, CI, test data, and reporting • Hands-on experience testing React Native apps is desirable • Mobile performance and reliability experience is desirable • API and contract testing experience is desirable • Right to work in the UK
