📋 Description

• Support the Associate Director in Lending & Trade Operations • Provide accurate work aligned with bank processes, procedures and regulations • Provide high-quality advice and guidance to team members • Embed and maintain robust operational controls • Plan, coordinate and control team resources to ensure timely, accurate and compliant services • Develop, mentor and appraise direct reports and improve colleagues’ technical knowledge and personal effectiveness • Manage key performance measures across Quality, Cost and Delivery • Support the Operations Manager in maintaining compliance with group and regulatory policies • Identify, communicate and mitigate operational risks and implement mitigation plans • Promote colleague engagement, continuous improvement and customer focus through Continuous Improvement methodology • Support the wider Trade Services management team in delivering One Best Way, with focus on end-to-end customer processes and stakeholder management

🎯 Requirements

• Experience of developing teams and engaging colleagues • Strong knowledge of Lending and Trade Operations • Experience delivering Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify and deliver improvements • Experience using Continuous Improvement tools, including AI • Understanding of customer value and the value stream, creating flow and pull, and striving for perfection • Knowledge of Trade & Lending products, preferably focused in commercial banking • Previous experience in Lending or Trade services is desirable; full training will be provided • Ability to support US working-day hours, typically 2pm to 10pm UK time, 5 days a week
